As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.

Money Talk

How much does it take to pay our monthly expenses? Our 2023 yearly budget is $238,847. Of that amount, $23,000 comes from our projected rentals and memorials. Trust funds cover the projected insurance premium of $18,000. Trust funds cover extraordinary costs (new sewer line, replacement of the vanity sink).

We need $20,000 monthly into our “current account” to pay our bills. That is $4,976 weekly. (This is over and above any amounts received for the Goodwill Fund, Caring Cupboard, and Camp Oneida).

Summer is a concern. Many of us will be away from church. Even with the combined services with the other two local churches, our income will be affected. Our bills still have to be paid!

We are asking for your prayers. Prayers that you will see your way clear to continue your financial responsibilities to the work of the church, especially over the summer.

You can, if you wish, give post-dated cheques or sign up for the monthly “pre-authorized remittance” plan.
