The “Baptist Boys” (later changed to “Baptist Blades”) men's hockey team was part of the Simcoe and area church hockey league, which started sometime in the 1970s. First Baptist had a team until the mid-2010s, although the number of players who were actually church members dwindled over the years. This photo of the team is believed to have been taken around 1982 or 1983.
