1. Potluck Lunch & Annual Meeting

Financial statements are now available. The annual meeting will be held on Sunday, May 4th. There will be a potluck lunch immediately following the worship service, then the meeting after that. Everyone is welcome to attend both events, but only voting members of First Baptist can vote during the meeting. We hope to see you there!
2. Summer Student

The church has received federal funding to hire a summer student for 6 weeks of work to help with Vacation Bible School. If you know of anyone between the ages of 16 and 28 who might be interested, please contact Janet Dickson as soon as possible for more information.
3. “Raisin” Funds

Members will know that Rev. Darrell Maguire is planning to retire at the end of June. They will also know that he hates raisins. As a farewell project, he has offered to eat 1 raisin for every $25 donated between now and June 1st! The Board of Managers will put the funds towards the future replacement of the air conditioning system. Contributions should be put in the raisin can in the sanctuary to count towards the goal. Can you contribute?
