As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.
The church organizes social groups that provide an opportunity for fellowship and friendship in a Christian environment. Sometimes groups get together because of a shared interest or to work towards a common goal. Other groups meet to bring together people of specific age groups. This page outlines which groups are currently meeting on a regular basis.
There is a group for parents and grandparents of young children that meets on the last Sunday of each month before the worship service. This is a continuation of the “Parenting for Faith” group that was held recently. Participants are welcome to join at any point; you do not need to have attended previous sessions.
While the parents have their discussion, there is also ”Kid Time” where the children enjoy supervised activities and make a snack to take home!
Join Rev. Darrell Maguire at the Riversyde 83 Café for an informal gathering where people can chat and share in fellowship. It is a casual, relaxed atmosphere where you can purchase your own treats from the café (if you wish) and meet up with church friends. Anyone is welcome to come!
All youth in grades 7 to 12+ are invinted to attend the youth group. There is a different activity every week … and sometimes a different location to explore.
Get togethers are from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
The youth group is organized by Rick & Carloyn Bridge. Contact them for more information.
