1. Coats for Kids

If you can donate gently used children's winter coats, they can be dropped off at any Peerless Cleaners location or participating schools. Deadline for donations is November 17th. All coats will be professionally cleaned before distribution.
Coats for babies to teenagers will be available at no cost on Saturday, November 22nd in the church gym from 9:00am to 10:30am. All are welcome!
2. November Newsletter Available

The latest edition of the church newsletter is packed with information from October events such as the fundraising lunch, the new Friday night kids' program, and more. You can also read about and plan for upcoming events including the annual Coats for Kids giveaway, Operation Eyesight, the Budget & Nominations meeting, etc. Rev. Pamela Fitkin provides her first monthly column, too! Of course, Steve, Elisabeth, and Sue all share their thoughts as usual. There's something for everyone in the newsletter. 3. Welcome Rev. Pamela Fitkin

On Sunday, September 21st following the morning worship services there was a congregational meeting to discuss the recommendation from the ministerial search committee to call Rev. Pamela Fitkin to be our next full-time minister at First Baptist. After the committee answered questions from congregation, members voted by secret ballot. The results were overwhelmingly in favour. Everyone is invited to join us on Sunday, November 23rd for her first worship service with us. The Deacons will continue to arrange weekly worship services until then.
