As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.
This board was signed by the carpenters who built the old Sunday School building, including foreman D. D. Gunton. It is dated February 26th, 1914 and indicates the carpenters' wages were 30 cents per hour. The board was dicovered in the wall by Jay Hoover, D. D. Gunton's grandson, in 1989 during the demolition of the building to make way for the current facility.
