As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.
Inspired by one of Rev. Darrell Maguire's children's stories on a Sunday morning in the spring of 2024, the children of the congregation asked if they could collect spare change for charity. Rick and Carolyn Bridge took responsibility for the project, decorating a container to collect coins which was placed in the church for about six weeks. When the coins were counted, the children used the money to buy $253 worth of food to donate to Simcoe Caring Cupboard along with a donation of $200 for the hot meal program “First Serving”.
