Church Updates
Board of Managers
- The Managers have followed through with the insurance recommendation to place locks on the two balcony doors. The insurance company was concerned about the height of the balcony railing and the possibility of a child falling over the railing. If there is a need to enter the balcony a key must be picked up at the office and returned afterwards. We have been requested to restrict the access to the balcony to adults only.
- The Managers have given the OK to replace the two kitchen sink taps. Estimated cost is $813.60. Work to be completed in January 2021.
- The Managers have given the OK to up-date/repair the kitchen stove. The stove has ten burners plus two ovens and is in need of replacement parts to meet code. Estimated cost is $4,100. A new comparable stove estimated was double the price. Work to be completed in January 2021.
Envelope Steward
The 2020 income tax receipts will be mailed to everyone around the middle of January. Thank you for your ongoing financial support. Christine Shepherd is helping to deliver your 2021 offering envelopes. If for some reason we have missed you or you would like offering envelopes, please call Jay Hoover.
