As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.

Youth Group Update

By Rick & Carolyn Bridge

Reading on the couch

On February 13th the youth group got together at the Bridges' home. Our lesson was “Who am I?” at school, at work, at hockey, volleyball, swim, soccer, badminton, at home in our family, and out in the public.

We did some worksheet exercises “all about me and my identity”. We learned that we are many things to a lot of people but our real true identity and the one that matters is who I am in God. I am His special child and unconditionally loved.

We played a little table tennis and closed with our prayer box.

The ice storm prevented us from meeting on the 27th but we have met since then to prepare to lead the children's story on March 5th. It is on “words” and how they can build you up or tear you down and what God says about that….
