Prayer and Praise
On the last Sunday of each month, there is an opportunity to offer praise or prayer requests during the worship service.
What has God been doing in your life? What story could you share of God at work in you?
God wants us to learn from each other, to share our experiences. He is active and present in our lives if we invite Him in, and then watch and listen for His presence.
Secret Friends
Contact Wendy Squires to find out more about this year-long venture of secretly providing encouragement and fellowship in small but meaningful ways, to a First Baptist friend.
Deadline to sign up is April 27th.
A minimum of 10 participants are needed to proceed.
Prayer Chain
Contact the church office, Rev. Darrel Maguire, or Marianne Irvin to start a network of confidential prayers.
Anyone interested in joining the prayer chain should speak with Wendy Squires for more information. Confidentiality is required. The deadline to return the confidentiality agreement is April 27th and then the flow chart will be adjusted and distributed.
“Talk Back” with Rev. Darrell Maguire
“Talk Back” Bible study meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am at the church.
This group meets weekly to discuss the sermon from the previous Sunday. Everyone is welcome!
Discussion questions will be attached to the weekly email blast and available in print at church each Sunday.
Caring for Each Other
The deacons have asked everyone to be aware of people that are absent from the church services.
If you notice someone has been absent for a few weeks, please let Rev. Darrell Maguire know. We would like to be more intentional about reaching out.
