As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.

April 3rd: Worm Night

We met at the Bridges' and started with our Bible study on The Chosen, discussing being Jesus-centred vs self-centred. Local farmer Sarah Judd talked about the importance of good soil, composting, and using nature to feed and heal itself. She brought a worm hotel compost! We each tried the smells test. Dirt, worm castings, bad compost, and sawdust. We helped her pack vegetable and flower seeds into small envelopes for the seed program at the Simcoe public library. We finished our night by filling out the survey that went out from the church finance committee.
