We enjoyed a fun game of drawing on someone else's back. It started with the back person and moved forward to the front person to see what the drawing ended up like. It's like the telephone game with drawings. Then we talked about interpretation. We can all see or hear something and interpret it in our own way. We get different impressions of something and have to figure out how that applies to God's Word. We need to return to God's Word to ask questions.
We had an object lesson with a piece of paper, crumpled it up, and tried to straighten it out again. Lesson was about choices. We have to choose our words wisely. The paper represented people's hearts and how you can't take back things. They can leave permanent wrinkles or marks on lives, so to choose your words wisely!

We met at the church. We made hot chocolate, walked through the Panorama lights in the park and then came back to the church to make more hot chocolate! We did our study continuing chapter two of Love Wins which talks about Heaven. We shared our thoughts on what we thought Heaven is like and we looked up scripture about Heaven and eternal life . We had great discussion!
We finished the night with some pickleball and more snacks. Ally and Jude hung candy canes on the tree for the Godly Play kids. The candy cane is a J upside down for Jesus and the red and white representing his blood which is shed for us.
