Easter Morning Program
Several families and individuals gathered before church to enjoy butterfly cupcakes, rice crispies, eggs, and then delicious, beautifully decorated cookies after church. Carolyn told the Holy Week Godly Play story. There was an Easter egg hunt with words to unscramble about Easter. They decorated Easter hats by adding one decoration each and passing it to the next person.
Mark gave each child chocolate treats after his baptism. We sang “Allelu–allelu-allelu-alleluia praise ye the Lord” in rounds with the adults and children. What a fun time!
