Godly Play
After hearing the story of the Good Shepherd from Jim Carroll, Carolyn Bridge led games in the gym to reflect on the story and the lesson. The first story was called “my sheep hear my voice”, followed by the game “the last sheep”. The sheep were white balloons we had to bring back into the sheep fold. We learned how God is our Good Shepherd and how He will leave the entire flock to find one who was lost. He protects us and wants to keep us from the dark things in life. He knows a sheep by name. He sees us, He hears us, and we learn to see and hear Him in our lives.
