As a Christian church, we exist to honour God by helping local people worship God, grow spiritually, serve others, and reach their communities and the world with the message and love of Jesus Christ.

Youth Group Reunion/Start-Up

By Rick & Carolyn Bridge

The youth group met at Carolyn and Rick Bridge's backyard (masked). It was their first time together in a long time. They each took turns catching up and sharing what's been happening in life. There was good discussion about jobs, driver's licenses, school, Covid, and friends.

They then took turns answering the six questions below. The discussion was very open and honest. It was great to be together and able to talk. They closed with a group prayer and some snacks. They plan to continue to meet once a month because of demands from work, school, and the uncertainty of things in general. They continue to keep in contact weekly and have pledged to pray for one another and be there for support.

As young adults they spoke about doing their best to get to church whenever possible, to hear Darrell's message and feel the support of the church family.

Discussion questions:

  1. What about life is good for you right now?
  2. What is not so good?
  3. If you could ask God one question right now what would it be?
  4. What is one thing you would change with a snap of your fingers?
  5. What do you need prayer for?
  6. What do you hope for?
