Tithes and Offerings
Thank you to those on the Pre-Authorized Automatic Remittance (PAR) plan. This helps us greatly.
If you are not using the PAR program, you can send your tithe via the regular mail. We ask that you do not send cash. Please place your cheque in your offering envelope and place your offering envelope in a mailing envelope.
The Managers are making sure the bills are paid and the facilities are checked every day.
Contact Jay Hoover if you wish to sign up for PAR. There is no charge to you.
Operation Eyesight Banquet Update 2021
A collection of momentary donations will be taken in October 2021 instead of the traditional banquet.
In 2020 OEU was able to run significant projects globally in India, Nepal, and parts of Africa. Covid-19 has complicated the work greatly as the hospitals are almost overrun with Covid cases and some sight surgery is put on hold.
Last year our collection generated over $20,000. So in spite of a global pandemic, this life-changing work was still able to go forward.
A global thank you to all who have given support in the past 40 years through prayer, encouragement, or finances. Each year you have changed the lives of hundreds for the better.

Fall Baby Bottle Campaign

The Norfolk spring fundraising campaign fell way below their goal. So we are going to take part in a fall campaign. This time we get to fill actual baby bottles again. How fun will that be?
The bottles will be distributed at church on September 12th and collected back on Thanksgiving, October 10th.
If you would like to fill a bottle but won't be out to the in-person service on September 12th, contact Wendy Squires and she will try to arrange for you to have one.
