…and kids' kitchen time
On November 23rd, the adults discussed getting through Christmas when its hard (e.g., sleeping in different places, difficult relatives, loss of a loved one). The kids made a pretzel wreath and discussed how God's love is endless (games and songs about circles).
Grandparents and parents are invited to meet once a month for discussion on raising kids to know, love, and serve God. Jim Carroll and Laura Maguire facilitate the discussion.
At the same time, Janet Dickson and helpers spend one hour with the kids to prepare a take-home kitchen treat based on a theme.
