Secret Friends Update

Secret Friends is a fun, year long event that eleven people signed up to take part in. Over the past several months mementos and words of encouragement have secretly flowed between participants.
I recently reached out to participants to inquire how they were finding this adventure. The response has been positive with everyone feeling very encouraged. Gifts may be a card, a note, always in keeping with their “friends's” interests such as decorative ribbon, treats for their dogs, earrings, food items, a book to read to a new grandchild, and from one a roll of butterscotch candies with a note, “May God's love feel extra sweet today”.
As coordinator it has been a joy and encouragement to me to witness the creativity and caring you have shown for each other. It has been fun for me to assist in this clandestine adventure by sending emails, and in making deliveries. Please continue to call on me to help in any way. Others have inquired about becoming involved. We will wrap up this series at the end of May and I look forward to moving forward with another round if you choose to do so.
