Our Church Anniversary – 186 Years!
First Baptist Church celebrates the life and service of our church family on the last Sunday in May of each year.
This particular year is the 100th anniversary of the current sanctuary. What happened to the original one? How was this one built? Who were the key people? How much money was raised? This newsletter answers some of those questions in the article Celebrating 100 Years in the Sanctuary.
For PowerPoint each Sunday in May we will be sharing photos of the people and phases of our church over time.
There will be an anniversary cake and historical display after church on May 29th.
We look to the past to remember our roots, so that we can follow God's direction for our future.
